Let’s talk about the word “queer”. Over the last decade, the “queer community” has been used instead of the “LGBT community”. Not everyone feels good about being called queer, myself included. “Queer” is said to be the more inclusive term to refer to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans identified people. But is that true? And where does the lesbian woman fit into this new inclusive community? My special guest, AJ, and I sit down for a chat about the term “queer”. AJ is an Australian lesbian in her early 30s with a lot to say on the subject.
